Options presented at the Lewis Central school board meeting Monday suggested costs could go up by as much as $1 million if a newer system were installed.

ANN ARBOR: Alison Davis-Blake named dean of U of M’s Ross School of Business

Alison Davis-Blake will be the new Edward J. Frey Dean of the Ross School of Business effective Aug. 22, pending approval from the University of Michigan Board of Regents. Davis-Blake is the current dean of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. “I am very excited for the opportunity to lead the Ross School of Business,” Davis-Blake stated in a news release.

Naples Catholic school gets $4 million pledge

A future building on the St. John Neumann Catholic High School campus in Naples will exist because a 1997 graduate died – but it will be a building that celebrates life. Principal Denny Denison told a crowd of about 100 gathered at the school Wednesday that he hopes construction will start this year on the Justin Holecek Student Life Center, made possible by a matching allow of $4 million pledged by his parents, Bruce and Jeri Holecek of Naples.

School tax revenue statements win approval in Waterloo, Cedar Falls

Attendance boundaries committee prepares for community forums

A year after tragedy, Deer Creek students create a new future
